No, you can choose services a la carte or engage in the pathway approach. The pathway approach is provided for clients who are not sure where to begin. The holistic care of the client is unique to The Resting Place's approach and we begin the pathway approach by having the client participate in an initial intake. After careful review of your needs by a licensed counselor, we will develop a customized care pathway which may include one or more of the four services: Counseling, Deliverance, Inner Healing, Spiritual Direction.

Yes, we do provide telehealth appointments. Clients who are engaging in counseling sessions must be located in the state of their counselor’s licensure at the time of the telehealth session. All other modalities and ministries can also offer telehealth but do not require that you be in any specific location during the session.

Counseling: $240 for 80-minute sessions and $175 for 50-minute sessions. All intake/pathway assessments are 80 minutes.

Spiritual Direction: $185 per 90 minute session.

Inner healing and deliverance ministries: $125 per 120min session

The Resting Place is not equipped to bill insurance or any third-party payers. Some health insurance companies will reimburse clients for counseling services, and some will not. In addition, most insurance companies will require a diagnosis of a mental health condition before they agree to reimburse you. If a qualifying diagnosis is appropriate in your case, your counselor will inform you of the diagnosis before submission to a third party and any formal diagnosis made will become part of your permanent insurance record.

If you wish to seek reimbursement from your insurance company for services rendered at The Resting Place, your counselor can provide a super bill for you to submit to your insurance company. It will be your responsibility to file with your carrier, and to see what steps need to be taken for reimbursement.

Our online booking portal will allow you to cancel/make changes to appointments up to 48 hours in advance. After that, please contact our office to discuss available options. Any client who requests to change the session time must be submitted to the administrative office or your minister and mutually agreed upon prior to your appointment time.

Regardless of what portion of the session has occurred, the full session fee will still be charged if:

• You are more than 10 minutes late for your session or you miss the appointment entirely (both considered a "no-show");
• Cancelation or rescheduling occurs less than 24 hours in advance of the appointment time
• You are not reasonably prepared for your video session (more details found in Video
• You fail to understand which service or minister you've booked or what our services consist of
• There is a concern regarding the safety and/or well-being of our team

These policies are necessary in order to honor our ministers' time and because an appointment time is held exclusively for you.
